Fees and rebates

• Standard session fee: $240 (50-minute session)

• Medicare rebate: $93.35 per session (with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP)

• Out-of-pocket cost after rebate: $146.65

I am a Registered Psychologist, and clients with a Mental Health Treatment Plan are eligible to receive up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year through Medicare.

Private health insurance rebates may also apply. Please check with your fund.

Assessment:

Assessments range in investment due to the varying time taken to administer, review, provide formulation and write the report. Please discuss with Renae to create an assessment package that is relevant to your needs.

Cancellation Fees

If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice, although 48 hours notice is preferred. If you do not provide prior notice, late cancellation fees will apply. Please note the cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 24 hours notice: no cancellation fee

• Less than 24 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee

• No notice of session cancellation or re-schedule: 100% of the sessional rate will be charged.

Please note that late cancellation fee policy is enforced to enable Renae to support as many families as possible. With prior notice, Renae is able to re-allocate the session to another family in need of support.
